Our team is lead by Ross Gronau. After studying at George Washington University (BBA), Ross got his metal building industry start by working technical sales for the inventor and manufacturer of the Simple Saver System, Thermal Design, Inc..

After working with Thermal Design for six years, Ross left in 2008 to start NorthStar Insulators, Inc. dba EnergyCraft Systems. The move was an effort to implement all the pre-engineered metal building insulation knowledge gained while working with the team at Thermal Design and from learning about and addressing the various building envelope and environment issues fielded from calls from architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners from all over North America.

As we helped metal building contractors and erectors by installing OSHA-Compliant Leading Edge Fall Protection Insulation Liner Systems ahead of them as they roofed their buildings, opportunities arose for us to help put a roof on or sheet some walls. Eventually, these roof and wall sheeting requests evolved into requests for us to erect entire pre-engineered metal buildings. In 2012, the opportunities were numerous enough that Oslo Building Systems, Inc. was created to handle this additional market need.
